The McBee family is going into Season 3 with one question hanging over everything: what happens to Steve McBee Sr. after his guilty plea in a federal crop insurance fraud case. The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3 premieres Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, and the episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.
The premiere lands just under 24 hours before Steve McBee Sr. learned whether he would have to serve jail time, which makes the timing feel less like television and more like a countdown. Steven McBee Jr. said he had not been sleeping because of the uncertainty around his father’s fate, and he put the feeling plainly: “The anticipation has been the worst part.”
That uncertainty is the center of the season opener, and it is why viewers are searching for steve mcbee now. Kristi McBee visited Steven McBee Jr. at the family’s farm fulfillment center in Gallatin, Mo., where the mood is shaped by a sentence nobody in the family can control. Steven said he was hoping for a light outcome, adding, “I’m hoping that it’s just probation, and I don’t think it’ll be too much. You know, not too much will change.”
But the hope for probation sits beside a harder reality. Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison are adjusting to life with their daughter, Blair Collins McBee, who was born on December 13, 2024, while also trying to settle into the dream home they built as a family of three. Cole said, “We put all of our money into it,” and added, “I spent, you know, every dollar I’ve made.” He said he had saved since high school to build his first house, while Kacie said the home they designed together feels even more meaningful because they moved in with Blair. Even so, she said they just want to know “what is going to happen” with Steve McBee Sr.’s court date.
Jesse McBee and Alli McBee are dealing with their own new chapter after welcoming their daughter, Summer Leigh McBee, in April 2025, roughly six months after their wedding was featured in the Season 2 finale. Jesse said the first year of marriage has had “its up and downs,” but called Summer “the greatest blessing in the world.” That mix of newborn joy and legal anxiety is what gives the premiere its shape: the family is trying to move forward while waiting to learn whether the next step for Steve McBee Sr. changes everything.
