The Powerball jackpot climbed to an estimated $258 million for the Saturday, June 13, drawing after no ticket matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in Wednesday’s draw. The cash option was estimated at $115.6 million.
That jump matters because the top prize rose by $20 million in just one rollover, giving players in the Saturday drawing a larger payout to chase than the one available three days earlier. Powerball drawings are held at 11 p.m. ET every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, including holidays, which is why the new jackpot was set for a fast turnaround into Monday, June 15.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 12-31-38-60-66, and the Powerball was 14. Power Play was 2x. There were no second-tier winners in that drawing, even though the wider draw produced 91 big wins across the game. That split result is part of what keeps the jackpot moving higher when the top prize is not hit.
The June 13 jackpot sits inside a year that has already seen the prize reset more than once. Powerball fell back to $20 million after two tickets in Florida and Texas matched all six numbers in the Saturday, May 2, 2026, drawing, and it had also reset to $20 million after two players in Indiana and Kansas won $143 million in the Wednesday, April 29, 2026, drawing. The Florida Lottery said the Florida winner from the May 2 draw claimed a cash prize of $4,488,330.34, and the local ticket was purchased at La Caribena Grocery and Restaurant at 131 Buena Ventura Blvd. in Kissimmee.
For players, the odds remain long. According to Powerball.com, the chance to match all six numbers is 1 in 292.2 million, and prizes range from $2 to the jackpot. If a prize is won in Florida, it must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing, while a single-payment cash option must be claimed within the first 60 days after the draw date. Any winner of $250,000 or more is shielded from public disclosure for 90 days after the prize is claimed unless that person waives the protection. The next question now is whether Saturday’s draw finally produced a winner, and if it did, where the ticket was sold.
