Stephon Castle stepped into Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday, June 10, in Chrome Hearts pants with pink crosses, a longsleeve white Black Flag graphic tee and black Jordan IVs. The San Antonio Spurs guard kept the look sharp and simple, but it still landed as one of the night’s most specific tunnel fits.
Game 4 came with both teams still carrying the weight of the series. The Spurs were trying to pull even after getting their first win two nights earlier, while the New York Knicks were still searching for their first NBA Finals win at Madison Square Garden since 1999. That made every pregame walk into the arena feel like part of the night’s larger stage.
Castle was not the only player leaning into fashion before tipoff. Karl-Anthony Towns wore a vintage jacket with orange and blue colors and a white star stretching across the back, sleeve and front, plus well-fitting chinos and white sneakers. Devin Vassell wore a cozy black knit sweater with crosses on the arms and burgundy leather pants, along with shades, a rosary necklace and chunky black boots. Bismack Biyombo chose a navy suit with stripes embossed into the material, leather accents at the pockets and no tie.
The rest of the tunnel fit check pushed the same point in different directions. Victor Wembanyama wore checkerboard pants and lemon yellow Nike sneakers. Jordan Clarkson went with a flowy button-up shirt, high-water trousers and patent boots. Mohamed Diawara kept it quieter in a gray chore jacket with all black underneath and matching gray sneakers. Together, the looks made the pregame walk feel like a second event running alongside Game 4 itself.
What the outfits did not explain was almost as striking as what they showed. The players turned the tunnel into a runway for one of the biggest nights of the NBA Finals, but the styling stayed individual rather than coordinated, with no sign that the clothes were tied to a team message or a shared dress plan. That left Castle’s Chrome Hearts pants, and the rest of the group’s choices, to stand on their own as the series moved on under the pressure of a night that already meant more than a normal game.
