Star Wars: Zero Company has put Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker on screen again, and this time the character turns up in the game’s newest trailer before Ahsoka Season 2 gets the same chance. The reveal shifts the next expected appearance of one of Star Wars’ most recognizable figures into 2026, with Zero Company set to arrive first.
That is why the trailer matters now for anyone still tracking Christensen’s return. He last reprised the role in Season 1 of Ahsoka as Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi Master, and the new trailer keeps that thread alive with Anakin shown using Christensen’s likeness from Revenge of the Sith and a blue lightsaber. A character also says, “General Skywalker,” before he appears, making the cameo plain even before the full reveal lands.
Star Wars: Zero Company is a single-player narrative tactics game set during the Clone Wars era, which gives Anakin a natural place in the story. StarWars.com says Jedi General Anakin Skywalker is on “a crucial mission” and that his path “briefly crosses” with the Zero Company crew, while also teasing that players will encounter “a familiar face or two” from this era in Star Wars storytelling. That language suggests a limited role rather than a central one, but it still confirms that Anakin is part of the game’s world.
The timing is what changes the read on all of it. Ahsoka Season 2 was initially expected in 2026 before being pushed back to 2027, and Lucasfilm has not given the series a firm release date. Zero Company now fills that gap, with a release set for August 27, 2026 on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. Bit Reactor has not confirmed who will voice Anakin, so the image of Christensen’s face is confirmed while the voice behind it remains open.
