That advice matters now because Washington, D.C. is expected to be busy this weekend, and getting to Audi Field could take longer than usual. Fans can use the Green Line to Navy Yard Station, transfer at L’Enfant Plaza from other Metro lines, or ride the 74 and P6 Metrobus lines. A complimentary bike valet will also be available at 2nd St SW & T St.
The schedule around the game starts early. United Bowl Fan Fest begins at 1:00 PM outside Audi Field, and all gates open at 1:30 PM. The first 5,000 fans through the doors will get a commemorative United Bowl T-shirt, while a Gate A pop-up bar will sell $5 Miller Lite and Tecate beers before kickoff. Official United Bowl, DC Defenders and Louisville Kings merchandise will be sold on the concourse near Gate B and behind Section 119, with Ticket HQ located behind Section F6.
The day’s entertainment lineup is just as crowded as the stands. Grammy Award-winner Mix Master Mike will perform throughout the game with extended sets during pregame, halftime and postgame, Voices of Service will sing the national anthem and 50 Cent will headline the halftime show. After the final whistle, fans are being asked to stay in their seats for the official 2026 United Bowl Trophy Presentation and championship celebration on the field.
The only open question is how long the travel delays around Audi Field will stretch once the weekend traffic builds. What is clear is that the championship will not be a quick in-and-out stop: it is designed as an all-day event, with the field, the concourse and the stands all tied to the same title game.
