Ferrari-AF Corse arrived at the final Le Mans check in front, with its Ferrari 499P #51 setting the fastest time in the 15-minute warm-up on Saturday. Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi put the car at the top of the sheet with a lap of 3'26''540.
That mattered because the warm-up, run from 12:00 to 12:15 on 13 June 2026, was the last chance for the 62 entered cars to validate their settings before the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans began at 16:00. For teams and drivers, especially in a race that will run through traffic, strategy calls, reliability swings and simple exhaustion, the session was less about headlines than about making sure nothing was left to chance.
Ferrari-AF Corse also placed the Ferrari 499P #50 second, while the Toyota GR010 Hybrid #8 of Toyota Gazoo Racing took third. Alpine Endurance Team’s A424 #36 was fourth and the Genesis GMR-001-Hypercar #19 of Genesis Magma Racing completed the top five, a useful snapshot of pace but not a forecast of what would happen over 24 hours on the Circuit de la Sarthe.
That was the point of the warm-up: a final check before the race, a quick read on the track and one last look at race conditions before the third round of the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship went green. The LMP2 and LMGT3 classes also had their leaders, with CrowdStrike Racing by APR’s Oreca 07-Gibson #4 fastest in LMP2 and TF Sport’s Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R #33 quickest in LMGT3.
Le Mans has a habit of humbling the car that looks sharpest on Saturday morning, and Ferrari knows that better than most. The #51 has the speed, but the next test begins at 16:00, when Pier Guidi, Calado and Giovinazzi will find out whether warm-up pace was a promise or just the opening lap of a much longer argument.
