Arsenal are exploring a deal for Christos Tzolis, with Club Brugge the club at the centre of the latest check on their summer attacking plans. Sources believe the 24-year-old could be available for around €40million, a figure that puts him firmly into the bracket of serious targets rather than loose speculation.
That is why his name is drawing attention now. Arsenal have targeted the left wing this summer, and Tzolis fits a profile the club have been chasing while they weigh several options. A move for the Greece international would not change their interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers or another alternative, which suggests the search is still broad rather than settled on one name.
Tzolis is not a hidden bet. He has 43 goals for Club Brugge across two seasons, including 17 goals and 23 assists in the most recent campaign cited, and his record in Germany was equally striking when he scored 23 times for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 2. Bundesliga in 2023-24. He has also been around long enough for clubs to know the track record behind the numbers. He started at hometown side PAOK, moved to Norwich City in 2021, made 14 Premier League appearances in his debut season, then went on loan to FC Twente before rebuilding his reputation in Dusseldorf.
The friction is hard to miss. Tzolis signed fresh terms with Club Brugge in July 2025 that run until June 2029, and Crystal Palace had already made an offer shortly before that deal was completed. On paper, that should have taken him off the market. Instead, Arsenal are still looking, which tells its own story about how highly they rate him and how willing they are to keep pressing on multiple fronts.
Last month, Tzolis set a clear bar for any exit, saying only a Champions League club from England, Germany, Spain or Italy would tempt him away from Brugge. Arsenal can meet that condition, and they have already seen him up close: he played the full match in Club Brugge’s three-goal defeat against them in December 2025. Whether that becomes the moment he is identified as a target worth a formal bid, or simply another name in a crowded search, is the next step that will shape this chase.
