Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson was arrested Monday night on suspicion of felony domestic violence after police responded to a battery domestic investigation near a residence in West Hills.
The arrest was booked at 4:24 a.m. Tuesday, and Jackson was released on $50,000 bond at 7:20 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The case will now be submitted to the LA County District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations.
Jackson’s arrest lands less than a year after the Rams signed him to a three-year, $57 million contract extension in March 2025, a deal that reflected how far he had come since arriving in Los Angeles in 2021 as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa. He made his first starts for the Rams in 2022 and became a full-time starter in 2023, then started 16 games in 2025 and played in all three of the team’s playoff matchups.
The criminal case is not the only matter hanging over Jackson. A woman identified in court documents as Jane Doe sued him in November 2025, alleging he recorded her without her consent during sex and lied about deleting the video. That civil case remains active, with a case management conference set for July 30.
For now, the immediate question is whether prosecutors move forward. The LAPD has already made the arrest, but the next decision rests with the district attorney, and that will determine whether Jackson faces felony charges in court or whether the case stops with the booking and bond he posted Tuesday morning.
