Nelly Korda has put her wedding plans in public view at the same time she is trying to win the U.S. Women's Open. The 27-year-old said during tournament week at Riviera Country Club that she is preparing to marry Casey Gunderson in 2027, turning a private relationship into part of the story around her fourth major championship chase.
The timing makes the disclosure more than a personal update. Korda entered the 81st annual U.S. Women's Open as the favorite in Pacific Palisades, California, and her play has already swung from a 2-over 73 on Thursday, when she finished outside the top 50, to a 4-under 67 on Saturday that put her back atop the leaderboard alongside Sei Young Kim.
