said Tunisia will wait until after Friday’s final training session before settling on the starting eleven for tomorrow’s friendly against Belgium at the Stade Roi Baudouin in Brussels.

That delay matters because Tunisia is running out of time to shape its last test before the , and Lamouchi made clear he is trying to balance ambition with caution. He said some players are physically doubtful and that no risks will be taken, even though he still wants to field the strongest possible team against a Belgian side he described as full of players capable of making the difference.

Speaking in Brussels, Lamouchi said Belgium will also treat the match as its final outing before the World Cup and expected to start with his best team. “Belgium has many players capable of making the difference. We know their qualities. For them too it will be the last match before the World Cup and Rudi Garcia will also want to line up his best team from the start,” he said. “The Devils will want to show themselves and it is up to us to respond, to try to do as well as possible and trouble our opponent. The danger will come from everywhere, but we already know that.”

The Tunisia coach added that changes are likely because of those fitness doubts, but he stopped short of naming who is troubled. “We must make some changes. Some players are in doubt. We will not take any risks. But, given the level of our opponent, we still want to line up the strongest possible team. After the day’s training session, we will make a decision,” he said.

That leaves the clearest unanswered point before kickoff: which Tunisian players will actually be available when the team walks out at the Stade Roi Baudouin. Tunisia will know soon enough, but Lamouchi has already signaled that the final call will be made only after training, not before it.
