North Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help finding Raul Soriano, 75, after he was last seen leaving his home early Wednesday and never returned. He was last seen around 3 a.m. in the 2600 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard near Simmons Street.
Police said Soriano walked away in an unknown direction to go to the store, but his whereabouts are still unknown. That is why the search matters now: the missing man is elderly, and officers said he needs medical attention because he has diabetes.
Soriano is described as Asian, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds, with short white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, black pants and a black hat. Officers also said he walks slowly with a noticeable limp, and he was not wearing his dentures and had no teeth.
Those details have sharpened concern around a simple question that has not been answered yet: where did Soriano go after he left home? Police have only said he did not come back after heading out to the store, and that leaves investigators and family waiting for a sighting that could narrow the search.
Anyone with information about Soriano’s whereabouts is urged to call the North Las Vegas Police Department immediately at 702-633-9111. For now, the public appeal is the main lead, and the next report on this case is likely to come from a tip that places him after 3 a.m. Wednesday.
