Topps will open pre-orders for 2026 Topps Chrome Marvel Comics on June 2, setting up a July 1, 2026 release for the new Marvel trading card product. The checklist centers on a 200-card base set and a deep stack of chase cards built for collectors who follow Chrome releases closely.
The early window matters because this is the date collectors can finally move from watching the announcement to trying to secure a box. Aaron Judge is among the names featured in the Cordially Invited subset, giving the set a pop-culture edge beyond the usual comic-book roster and helping explain why interest is building before pre-orders go live on Topps.com.
The base set reaches across Marvel’s decades-long history, which began in 1939, and Topps has loaded it with numbered parallels that will drive the chase. Black Refractors are limited to 10, Superfractors are 1 of 1, Hulk Green Lazer Refractors are numbered to 99, and Captain America Star Refractors are numbered to 41, a direct nod to the 1941 publication year of Captain America #1.
Topps is also bringing back Clawed Chrome Variations, with die-cut marks from Wolverine’s adamantium claws cut across the card surface. Beyond the base run, the product includes signed cards from Artgerm, Adi Granov, Kevin Eastman, Frank Miller and Lucio Parrillo, plus Facsimile Autographs of popular characters and 1 of 1 Cut Signatures of Stan Lee and Ditko.
That mix is what gives the release its weight, but one piece is still missing: print runs for cards without serial numbers have not been announced. For collectors, that leaves the scale of some chase cards unclear even as the bigger beats are already fixed in place. The same checklist also points to Comic Excerpts: Spider-Man cards with small samples of original Spider-Man comic pages, inserts such as Meanwhile... and One World Under Doom, and additional sets including Fanfare, Varied Visage: Age Of Apocalypse, Topps Originals, Reflections and Astonishing.
One World Under Doom is tied to current Marvel storylines, while the sketch-card lineup includes Granov and Eastman. For now, the important dates are set: pre-orders begin June 2, and the product is scheduled to land on July 1, 2026, with the remaining checklist details likely to draw the next wave of collector attention.
