Paul Heaton is bringing his huge UK arena tour to Co-op Live this autumn, giving Manchester fans a night built around more than 40 years of songwriting and a setlist that reaches across every part of his career. The show will feature songs from The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, along with brand new music from his forthcoming album Jenius.
The appearance matters because it puts one of the UK’s longest-running songwriters back in front of a major arena crowd at Co-op Live on the Etihad Campus in East Manchester. Lightning Seeds will join him as special guests, adding another familiar name to a bill that is being pushed hard ahead of the run of dates.
Jenius is due out on 21 August 2026 and will be Heaton’s 23rd studio album. Co-op Backstage Club access includes private entry up to one hour before general admission doors, with Backstage Club doors listed at 17:30, Premium Doors at 18:00 and General Admission at 18:30. Anyone aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and anyone under 16 is not allowed in the standing area.
