The teaser initially looked like a blocky digital graphic, but fans quickly picked out the clue in the design. The segmented blue outline around the collar and shoulders is drawn from the mosaic tile lettering on the RANGERS F.C. sign across the red brick front of Ibrox Stadium, tying the shirt to the ground where it will be worn and sold.
For Rangers supporters, the timing matters as much as the look. The club has now confirmed when the new away jersey will reach retail, giving kit buyers a date to circle before the launch lands later this week. The shirt is being made by Umbro, continuing the brand’s role in the club’s modern kit cycle.
