American Fork police said they charged YouTuber , known online as Reckless Ben, on March 27 with stalking and targeted residential picketing after repeated calls tied to a bitter dispute. The case moved from internet spectacle into criminal court after police said they twice decided to arrest him.

The reason people are searching the Bricks And Minifigs Stock story now is the police response itself. Schneider had spent weeks pressing a claim that ’s family had lost a $200,000 Star Wars Lego collection after leaving it at a Bricks and Minifigs franchise in Oregon under a consignment agreement, and the fight had already drawn a fundraiser for Mansell that topped $250,000.

Police Chief said Schneider’s videos were “presented in a way that calls into question some of the actions of our department.” He said he reviewed four case numbers tied to calls from to the department between March 9 and March 12, and that officers twice decided Schneider should be arrested before the were filed. Paul said the department’s role was to enforce Utah law, not to decide who was morally right in a business dispute.

That dispute had spilled far beyond a store counter. Schneider placed large banners over the company’s sign, handed over an award for “most Legos stolen,” filed multiple small-claims lawsuits and set up a satirical company called . He also traveled to American Fork to confront the owner at his home, while the videos claimed corporate took over the Oregon store and gave it to a new owner based in American Fork, leaving Mansell without his money or his Legos.

Schneider said he was trying to have a good-faith conversation and serve papers. Police said his conduct crossed a line anyway, and that even a person who believes they were financially wronged is not exempt from laws against harassment, trespassing, stalking or similar behavior. The unresolved question now is not whether the online campaign brought attention to Mansell’s claim, but whether any court ever sorts out the underlying Lego fight that put both men in the spotlight.
