Cassie Ventura said in a court declaration filed Monday, June 1, that she now lives outside the United States and has no plans to move back. The filing gives a fresh update on where the 39-year-old is living while she remains tied to legal proceedings in New York and California.
The declaration was filed as Cassie continues to deal with the aftermath of her sexual assault and human trafficking lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. She settled that case after Combs paid her $20 million in November 2023, one day after she filed the lawsuit.
Cassie’s statement does not say where outside the United States she has relocated, but it does make clear that she is not treating the move as temporary. She also said it is more convenient for her to attend court hearings in New York rather than California, a practical detail that matters because it places her at a distance from the proceedings while keeping her connected to them.
That separation sits alongside a history that has kept her name in the public record for years. Cassie was linked to Combs between 2005 and 2018, married personal trainer Alex Fine in August 2019 and shares three children with him. Last summer, while pregnant, she testified in Combs’ criminal trial.
The filing leaves the central question unanswered: where Cassie is living now. What it does establish is that she sees her life as based outside the United States and that any future court appearances will likely be judged by convenience, not geography. For now, her move is real, but its exact destination remains unstated.
