For people searching now, the timing matters: the giveaway opened June 1, four days before National Donut Day on Friday, June 5, when Dunkin’ will give away a free donut with any beverage purchase for the 16th year in a row.
The tote bag offer is tied to a larger run of National Donut Day promotions that also includes the return of Dunkin’ and Stoney Clover Lane. The limited-edition collection goes live at 10 a.m. ET on June 5 and will be sold on the Stoney Clover Lane website and in select retail stores, while select Dunkin’ x Stoney Clover Lane merchandise will be available at participating Dunkin’ locations for a limited time beginning early June.
That is where the catch comes in. The tote bag is not a guaranteed perk for every customer who walks in with a donut order. It is limited to participating stores and only while supplies last, and Dunkin’ has not said how many were made available or how fast they might disappear.
