Justin Fletcher was seen arriving at a Wolverhampton hotel with Samantha Dorrance for the first time after reports that the two CBeebies co-stars had started dating. The pair wheeled bags into The Mount Country Manor Hotel & Golf and wore matching New York Yankees baseball caps as they turned up together during a break from the Justin Live: Justin Time to Rock! tour.
The sighting matters because Fletcher, 55, is one of the best-known faces on children’s television through Mr Tumble, while Dorrance, 34, plays Tootsie, his best friend on the show. It is the first public glimpse of them together since the relationship was reported, and it comes after castmates were said to be aware of it.
Fletcher has played Mr Tumble since 2003, and Dorrance joined the world around him more recently, landing the role of Tootsie in The Tale of Mr Tumble in 2015. She also performed with him on stage as Cinders in Cinderella in 2024. That long professional overlap helps explain why the pair have been moving in the same circles for years, even if their private lives had stayed out of sight.
That privacy has remained part of the story. On social media, Dorrance refers obliquely to her “partner” and does not tag Fletcher’s Instagram account, even as a source said the romance blossomed last year and friends are thrilled he has found the one. Another source said the two are “madly in love” and that the age gap is not an issue.
Dorrance is understood to have moved into Fletcher’s £2.5million farmhouse in Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, and she gave a small public hint of that life in March when she wrote that she and her partner had hatched their own chickens. With the couple now seen together openly in Wolverhampton, the remaining question is not whether people around them know, but whether Fletcher and Dorrance will choose to confirm the relationship themselves.
