PlayStation has revealed the PS Plus Essential games for June 2026, and the new month’s headline addition is Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition on PS5 and PS4. Joining it are Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, with the trio set to land on the service on June 2.
The timing is what makes this round stand out. May’s PS Plus Essential games were due to roll over on June 1, but EA Sports FC 26 is being kept available until June 16, so subscribers have a longer window than usual before that title disappears. Nine Sols and WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers are still due to leave the catalog on June 1, even as the June lineup starts the next day.
That overlap arrives just as PlayStation is preparing its annual Days of Play sale, which is set to kick off on May 27. It gives the June lineup a little more visibility than a normal monthly refresh, and it also means players browsing the subscription now have a short stretch where both the outgoing May games and the incoming June games are part of the conversation.
The extra time for EA Sports FC 26 appears to be a special timing case tied to the FIFA World Cup, which helps explain why one May game is not following the usual cutover schedule. The rest of June’s selection looks built around shared play and multiplayer action, making it one of the more varied Essential rotations in recent months.
For subscribers, the practical takeaway is simple: Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide arrive on June 2, while EA Sports FC 26 remains claimable until June 16. What Sony does after that is the open question, because nothing in the current schedule points to a fourth June Essential game waiting in reserve.
