says the farm shop’s parking problem is still not solved, and she is hoping the council will finally make it permanent. The issue sits at the center of a business that keeps changing in small ways, even as the traffic around it keeps building.

That comment lands days before Clarkson's Farm season 5 begins on on 3 June, putting fresh attention on the team and the visitors who turn up for the shop. The new series will run for eight episodes, with the next two parts due on 10 June and the final pair on 17 June.

Hogan said the shop is “constantly improving lots of little things,” but parking remains the biggest unresolved one. She said she is “really hoping” the council gives the go-ahead to make the arrangement permanent, a decision that would matter far beyond the show because it would shape how the farm shop handles future visitor traffic.

She also pointed to the show’s broader mix of farming and chaos, saying she had long wanted Valais Blacknose sheep and was thrilled when she found an excellent breeder, while the snails brought another kind of detour. Hogan said she is a big fan of snail face cream, but Clarkson had “other plans” for them.

The newest season will also revisit the couple’s more serious moments. A preview showed Clarkson in hospital after a major health emergency, and he was later advised to rest and change his eating habits after cardiac surgery. Hogan said that rest period lasted “about a day and a half,” adding that he still refuses to eat cottage cheese. For now, the unanswered question is not whether the series will return, but whether the council will give the farm shop the permanent parking solution Hogan says it needs.
