Paris Saint-Germain climbed to fifth in Forbes’ 2025-26 ranking of the world’s most valuable football clubs, a new high for the Paris side as its estimated worth reached $5.8 billion. The club also generated $912 million in revenue and lifted its value by 26 percent year over year, putting it among the sport’s financial elite on the eve of the UEFA Champions League final.
That rise matters now because PSG’s search traffic is tied to a season in which the club has already delivered on the field. Under Luis Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain won its first Champions League title in 2025 and finished runner-up at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, giving the valuation jump a sporting backdrop that is unusually easy to measure.
Forbes’ list places PSG behind Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool, but ahead of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Arsenal. Real Madrid led the ranking at $9.5 billion, followed by Barcelona at $7.5 billion, Manchester United at $7.2 billion and Liverpool at $6.2 billion. PSG’s fifth-place finish is its highest-ever position in the annual valuation table, a milestone that reflects how far the club has moved since it broke into the top 10 in 2021 at $2.5 billion.
The scale of the climb is striking because PSG did it while spending only $111 million on transfers, a figure that ranked 34th worldwide and sits far from the club’s earlier era of blockbuster signings. That more measured approach still delivered Ligue 1 and the French Super Cup, while the club’s overall value has grown from about $415 million in 2014 to roughly 1,200 percent higher over 12 years.
PSG’s valuation now looks like the product of both results and restraint, not just spending power. The open question is how much of that $5.8 billion figure holds after the Champions League final in Budapest and the memory of a 2025 campaign that already pushed the club to new financial ground.
