Red Arrows Today: Sidmouth and East Devon flyovers set for Friday

The are back over Sidmouth and East Devon on Friday, May 29, with a day of scheduled passes that will carry the team from Axminster to Exeter, then on to Torbay and back again. The display team is making its way from RAF Waddington to Exeter via RAF Brize Norton, and the first local sighting is due south of Axminster at 2.27pm.

That is why searches for Red Arrows today are spiking now: the flyover times are set for this afternoon and evening, and people along the route need to know when to look up. The team is due over Exeter at 2.30pm, before leaving Exeter at 6.30pm for the , passing southwest of Bradninch at 6.32pm and near Totnes at 6.44pm before reaching Torbay for a display at 6.45pm.

Friday’s schedule then turns into a return run. The Red Arrows are due to pass north of Sidmouth at 7.09pm, swing southwest of Bradninch at 7.11pm, and arrive back at Exeter by 7.13pm, where they will stay overnight. On Saturday, they are set to repeat the same route in reverse before a second Torbay display at 12pm, leaving Exeter at 11.45am, passing southwest of Bradninch at 11.47am, north of Roadford Lake at 11.52am, west of Bere Alston at 11.55am and near Totnes at 11.59am, then north of Sidmouth at 12.24pm, southwest of Bradninch at 12.26pm and back in Exeter at 12.28pm.

The timings are approximate and given in BST, and they may change or be cancelled if weather or operational requirements intervene. After Saturday’s Torbay display, the team is due to leave Exeter again at 2.41pm for East Midlands Airport, where it will spend the night before continuing its schedule.
