Sheree Zampino has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $1 million after Bilaal Salaam said on a podcast that she had been sleeping with everyone in Hollywood. The court filing says the remarks went beyond a passing insult and became, in her view, a slander campaign.
That is why the name Will Smith is back in the search traffic today. Zampino and Smith were married for three years in the 90s, and her complaint ties the new case to comments that landed in a recent sitdown on the Tasha K podcast, including teaser material tied to the interview.
In the court docs, Zampino specifically called out Salaam’s appearance with Tasha K and said he doubled down on the claims throughout the interview. She and her lawyers argued that his remarks were slanderous and say they left her facing humiliation, emotional distress, embarrassment and mental anguish. The filing puts a dollar figure on that harm: over $1 million in damages.
The dispute also lands in the middle of a separate fight that has already put Salaam under legal pressure over claims involving Jada Pinkett Smith. He previously made graphic allegations about Will Smith and Pinkett Smith’s sex life, then later accused Pinkett Smith of threatening him in retaliation before launching a multimillion-dollar lawsuit of his own. That overlap makes Zampino’s case more than a celebrity feud; it adds another front to a legal mess already circling the Smith family.
What happens next now turns on the court, not the podcast. Zampino has made the size of the damage claim clear, but whether the case moves forward on her defamation allegations will depend on how a judge treats Salaam’s comments, the interview clips and the broader fight already surrounding him.
