Natasha Bure Perry tried to keep her pregnancy from Candace Cameron Bure and Valeri Bure during a family trip, but the plan fell apart in a hotel room stocked with baby items. The surprise ended with Candace gasping, Valeri high-fiving her before hugging Natasha, and Bradley Steven Perry joining in with a hug of his own.
Natasha, 27, said on Tuesday that her symptoms were so rough after the trip began that she did not think she could make it through the whole weekend without telling her parents. She said the family ran to a gift shop about 10 minutes before Candace and Valeri arrived and bought a little onesie, snow boots and a beanie for the reveal. Natasha later described the moment as one she could not stop replaying, saying they laughed through it and that it was the sweetest moment ever.
The couple had already made the pregnancy public on May 7, when Natasha and Bradley, also 27, shared the news in matching striped shirts with “Mamma” and “Dada” mugs. Candace posted the same photo and wrote that she was going to be a Candy Gram. That earlier announcement meant the secret on the trip was not that Natasha was expecting, but that she had managed to keep the news from her parents for the reveal itself.
Candace, 50, and Valeri, 51, are already parents to Natasha, Lev Bure and Maksim Bure, so the new baby will be the next addition to a family that has long been public about its milestones. Natasha and Bradley married at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, in September 2025, and the pregnancy reveal came less than a year after that wedding. In a separate post, Natasha called telling her parents they were having a baby “our dream role,” a line that fit the scene in the hotel room as much as any polished announcement could.
The moment worked because it was messy, fast and unmistakably personal. Natasha had tried to hold the news until the end of the weekend, but her symptoms, her parents’ flight timing and a last-minute dash for baby clothes turned the reveal into a family reaction shot that looked impossible to stage. By the time Candace blurted out, “Wait, what? Are you kidding? You're kidding! For real?”, the secret was over and the answer was already clear: this baby was wanted before anyone in the room had fully caught up to the news.
