Amazon MGM Studios has released the final trailer for Masters of the Universe, giving fans their last look at a film that sends He-Man toward Castle Greyskull and back into the fight for Eternia. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on June 5, 2026.
Nicholas Galitzine stars as Adam Glenn, also known as Prince Adam and He-Man, while Jared Leto plays Skeletor. The cast also includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan, also known as Man-at-Arms, Kristen Wiig as Roboto, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Moreno Baccarin as the Sorceress, James Purefoy as King Randor, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, James Wilkinson as Mekaneck and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto. Travis Knight directed the film from a screenplay by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee and Dave Callaham, with Ynon Kreiz, Bill Bannerman and David Bloomfield among the executive producers.
The trailer shows He-Man recruiting a force to storm Castle Greyskull and reclaim the throne, a blunt signal that the film is leaning hard into the sword-and-sorcery spectacle that helped make the property a fixture of pop culture. Based on Mattel’s classic toy line and the Saturday morning cartoons it inspired, Masters of the Universe is being positioned as a nostalgia-driven sci-fi and fantasy event rather than a quiet studio reboot.
