Heart of Midlothian have confirmed the pre-contract signing of MJ Kamson-Kamara, with the 20-year-old centre-back set to join the club on July 1, 2026, when his Lincoln City contract expires.
The defender has agreed a deal until 2030 and will link up with his new teammates for pre-season. Hearts said kamson kamara, who began his career at Bromley before signing professionally with Lincoln in 2023, spent last season on loan at Glentoran.
That spell brought 30 appearances and four goals, and helped Glentoran to a third-place finish in the Northern Irish Premiership and a place in the UEFA Conference League first qualifying round. He was also shortlisted for the league’s young player of the year award, a sign of how quickly his stock has risen.
The move comes at a busy time in Gorgie, where Hearts are building toward a return to European competition. The club announced the signing one day after Lawrence Shankland’s move to Rangers and with Frankie Kent and Beni Baningime also set to leave when their contracts end.
For Hearts, the deal is another statement of intent: a young defender with senior loan experience, a long contract in place and a clear path into the squad next summer. For Kamson-Kamara, it is the next step after a season that showed he could handle pressure, contribute at both ends of the pitch and earn a place on a bigger stage.
