Rise Against will bring their Australia and New Zealand tour to Christchurch on Saturday 21 November, opening a run that stretches through Perth on Friday 4 December and includes Dropkick Murphys on every date. The Chicago punk quartet are touring behind Ricochet, their 2025 album, with tickets going on sale through presales this week before the general sale begins on Friday 29 May at 1pm AEST.
The first show is at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, followed by Spark Arena in Auckland on Tuesday 24 November. The Australian leg starts at John Cain Arena in Melbourne on Thursday 26 November, then moves to Meltdown festival at the Entertainment Grounds in Gosford on Saturday 28 November, Riverstage in Brisbane on Sunday 29 November, and On The Steps at Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Tuesday 1 December before ending at Red Hill Auditorium in Perth on Friday 4 December.
The timing matters because the ticket window opens now. Mastercard cardholders in Australia get special access to presale tickets for the headline dates from Wednesday 27 May at 12pm AEST until Friday 29 May at 12pm AEST, while Westpac New Zealand customers with a Westpac New Zealand Mastercard have the same access in New Zealand over the same period. The Live Nation presale begins on Thursday 28 May at 12pm local time and runs until Friday 29 May at 12pm local time, before the full public sale opens an hour later in Australia.
Ricochet is Rise Against’s tenth studio album and was produced by Catherine Marks. It reached number 4 on the UK Rock and Metal Albums Chart, giving the tour a fresh album anchor as the band returns to the road. Rise Against now have ten albums to their name, including four Top 10 Billboard 200 albums.
Dropkick Murphys bring a long road-tested support slot to the bill. The Boston band have 13 studio albums behind them and have been active for more than 30 years, making the double-header a lineup built for fans who already know what they are getting: two veteran punk acts, a new record to push, and a tightly packed six-city run across both countries. For listeners, the answer is already on the calendar, and it starts with the first tickets going live this week.
