Necaxa has turned back to Voit for its uniforms, announcing that the brand will design the club’s kits starting with the Apertura 2026. The club made the announcement on its official social media accounts and welcomed the return with a message that read: “¡Nos enorgullece anunciar el regreso de Voit para este nuevo ciclo. ¡Bienvenidos, Fuerza Rayos!”
The change ends a six-year run with Pirma and revives a partnership that already has history. Voit previously designed Necaxa’s kits from 2007 to 2010, and now returns as the club prepares for a new cycle that includes both Liga MX and Leagues Cup matches.
The timing matters because Necaxa is coming off a difficult Clausura 2026, when it finished 15th with 18 points and missed the Liguilla. The Apertura 2026 begins on July 16, giving the club a fresh start on the pitch almost immediately after its kit announcement.
That reset will not wait long. Necaxa will open the Leagues Cup on August 6 against Chicago Fire at SeatGeek Stadium, then also face Philadelphia Union and New York City in the tournament. The new uniforms will debut as the club tries to move beyond a spring that left it well outside the playoff places.
For Necaxa, the return to Voit is more than a branding switch. It reconnects the team with a manufacturer that once outfitted it in a previous era, while also marking the end of a six-year partnership that had become part of the club’s recent identity. With the Apertura 2026 and the Leagues Cup both on the calendar, the shirt change arrives at the start of a demanding stretch that will define the next phase of the season.
