Victoria and David Beckham touched down on Ibiza this weekend for a little R&R, then turned up at Jondal with daughter Harper, son Romeo and Romeo's girlfriend Kim Turnbull in tow. The family was later spotted leaving the waterfront hotspot together after the outing.
Jondal is one of those places built for the famous, a beach club and restaurant where VIP guests arrive and depart by boat. For the Beckhams, that made the setting fitting for a low-key summer stop that still played out in public view.
The clothes told their own story. Victoria Beckham wore a brown, floral-printed chiffon summer dress, paired with brown leather Hermès sandals and an oversized rope-strapped tote. David Beckham went in gray from tee to shorts and finished the look with a little brimmed straw chapeau. It was a far cry from the couple's usual buttoned-up approach.
That contrast is part of what made the outing stand out. David Beckham is usually associated with a tailored three-piece suit, while Victoria Beckham typically wears her own designs, from streamlined dresses to elegant suits. Here, both leaned into casual nonchalance, a vacation mode that fit the island and the moment.
The family departure from Jondal gave the trip its clearest shape: this was not a lone escape, but a small family affair with Harper, Romeo and Kim Turnbull included. The Beckhams did not abandon the polished image that has long defined them, but for one Ibiza weekend they let it soften into something looser, lighter and plainly meant for a break.
