is leaving , and her final on-air appearance as will come in June. The actor said she finished taping in April and made the “very difficult decision” to step away after three years on the soap.

Mansi said she has “a few new projects” that need her full attention. She also said her husband, , is currently producing a series filming primarily abroad, and that she needed the flexibility to travel while continuing to develop and work in Los Angeles. That combination, she said, made it the right time to go.

Her exit closes out a run that began in 2023, when she joined the ABC daytime drama as Kristina. During that stretch, the character moved through some of the show’s most consequential storylines, including a same-sex romantic relationship with Blaze, the opening of an LGBTQ+ center in Port Charles, and a devastating fall into the Metro Court pool after tumbling several stories. The accident led to the death of the baby Kristina was carrying for her sister and Molly’s spouse, TJ Ashford.

Mansi said she was grateful for the way the show handled Kristina and thanked , ABC and the writers for their care. “It’s been such a meaningful and unforgettable ride,” she said, adding that she loved being “a fiery Corinthos-Davis girl” in what she called a phenomenal family. Valentini responded that the door is always open for her and said she added to the show over the past three years.

The departure also comes after Mansi spent recent months working behind the scenes as a director on the series. She said she had long been interested in directing and shadowed the show’s directors for quite some time to learn how they work, including the formula and technique. That experience gave her another path inside General Hospital, even as her onscreen run was winding down.

For the soap, the move leaves one more opening in a storyline universe that has repeatedly shifted characters through romance, loss and family conflict. Fans following the fallout around Kristina may also be tracking other evolving threads on the canvas, including a recent that deepens links to Delilah and Phoebe. But Mansi’s exit is now set: she finished taping in April, and June will bring her last appearance on screen.

The door may be open, as Valentini said, but for now Kristina’s chapter is ending the same way many soap turns do — with unfinished emotion, a changed family tree and one actor moving on before the audience has quite let go.
