Authorities located 4-month-old Symere Murray safe and unharmed after the baby was taken just after 1 a.m. on Saturday from the 9700 block of Perch Drive in Ferguson, Missouri. Ferguson Police said the child was taken by 22-year-old Armani Cincer Robinson-McKenzie, who was still at large when the story was published.

The finding brought relief to a case that had drawn attention through an Amber Alert situation involving a missing Ferguson baby. The alert centered on a narrow and urgent question from the start: where was the child, and could he be found before harm came to him? By the time authorities released the update, that question had been answered for the infant, but not for the person police say took him.
