Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are set to be in Columbus, Ohio, on May 25, 2026, to sign their agreement for Tribal Combat, the latest step in a showdown scheduled for next Sunday at Clash in Italy. The World Heavyweight Champion will arrive at Monday Night Raw with the kind of match record that makes the announcement matter: Reigns is undefeated in these types of matches.
Adam Pearce laid out the plan on Sunday morning ahead of the May 25 Raw, posting his weekly rundown for tomorrow night’s show at the Schottenstein Center. He wrote that Columbus would get the match signing and reminded fans the broadcast begins at 8e/5p and will air live around the world on Netflix.
The signing is not happening in a vacuum. It is part of the build to Clash in Italy, where Tribal Combat will put Reigns opposite Fatu next Sunday. For WWE, the move keeps the focus squarely on Reigns while also giving the company another chapter in a rivalry that has been pushed as one of the show’s main attractions.
Pearce’s preview also packed in several other angles. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been booked to face Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in a women’s tag team match after Bayley and Valkyria previously emerged to save Paige and Brie Bella from a post-match assault. Becky Lynch is expected in town as well, where she plans to file a formal complaint against Pearce after being forced to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca.
The same rundown also nodded back to the rest of the recent storylines circling Raw, including Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. Lesnar lost to Femi at WrestleMania 42 last month, then returned a week ago and blindsided him, giving the show another unresolved issue to carry into the week.
For now, though, Columbus belongs to Reigns. The signing on Raw should firm up the road to Italy and put him face to face with Fatu before a match type in which Reigns has never been beaten.
