FURYU Corporation has set a July 30, 2026 release date for the HD remaster of EXSTETRA on PC via Steam, while the long-awaited Exstetra Ps5 Remaster Release remains without a date. The company said it is still developing versions for Switch 2, Switch and PS5.
The announcement came on May 23, 2026, and was paired with the opening movie, which features vocals by NU-KO. FURYU also tied the reveal to Japan’s Kiss Day celebration, a nod to one of the game’s central mechanics.
EXSTETRA is set in Amazia, a reimagined Tokyo fused with another world, where high school student Ryoma is chosen as a Prisma and forced to fight to protect both worlds. As he travels, he meets potential Prisma Knights and awakens the abilities of his allies through kisses, a design choice that sits at the center of the game’s identity.
That combat loop is built around collecting EXS energy by defeating enemies and sharing it with teammates to strengthen them in battle, along with the Enchanting system that lets players upgrade gear with abilities and effects. The remaster’s Steam launch now gives the project a firm date on PC, but the absence of timing for PS5, Switch 2 and Switch means the console side of the rollout is still open.
For players waiting on the Exstetra Ps5 Remaster Release, the answer today is simple: it is in development, but not scheduled. The only date on the calendar is July 30 for Steam, and FURYU has not said when the rest of the platforms will follow.
