Ghanaian actress and media personality Beverly Afaglo has died, her husband, Eugene Baah, known as Choirmaster of Praye fame, announced on May 24. In a social media tribute, Baah said the loss had left his heart “shattered beyond words” and described Afaglo as central to his life and happiness.

Baah said it would have been just four more days to her birthday, a detail that gave his tribute an even sharper edge. Afaglo was born on May 28, 1983, and her death comes days before that date.
