says he and have been talking again about sharing a stage, though he says there is no new music in the works right now. Speaking Sunday evening, May 17, at the 61st Awards in Las Vegas, Hubbard said he and Kelley have been “toying around” and “flirting with the idea of playing a handful of shows next year.”

Hubbard described the talks as part of what he called “a really fun season of healing” with Kelley, adding that they have been hanging out, laughing, cutting up and goofing around “like the old days.” He also pushed back on fan speculation after photos of the two men and their wives circulated online, joking, “Yeah, one photo and the world thinks you’re back on tour automatically.”

The update carries extra weight because Florida Georgia Line has been quiet since the duo announced in February 2022 that it was “taking a break” to pursue solo projects. The pair played their final show in August 2022, closing a run that began with their debut record in 2012 and produced country radio staples including “Cruise,” “This Is How We Roll,” “May We All,” “H.O.L.Y.” and “Get Your Shine On.”

For now, Hubbard says the reunion talk stops short of a comeback. He said there is “no new FGL music” on the way at this time and that he has been “too busy working on my solo stuff at the moment,” with his newest song, “Land,” due Friday, May 22. He is also looking ahead to upcoming performance dates, including ’s fall headlining tour, while he prepares to leave Las Vegas and fly to the beach to spend time with Kelley and their wives.

That leaves the most immediate answer plain: Florida Georgia Line is not returning with new music, but the door to a handful of live shows is open. Hubbard says the idea itself sounds “like a lot of fun,” and he wants fans to feel at least a small piece of what he and Kelley have been working through behind the scenes.
