Gaa Fixtures: Kerry, Cork and Galway headline Saturday’s championship schedule

Saturday's gaa fixtures are led by three All-Ireland senior football ties, with meeting at Fitzgerald Stadium at 3pm, facing at Páirc Uí Rinn at 5.30pm and taking on Kildare at Pearse Stadium at 7.30pm.

The day starts earlier with London against Laois at McGovern Park, Ruislip, at 2pm in , while Offaly meet Down at Glenisk O'Connor Park at 6pm in the same round. Wicklow play Limerick at Echelon Park, Aughrim, at 4pm in , before Clare face Longford at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg in Ennis at 5pm and Leitrim take on Carlow in Carrick-on-Shannon at 5.30pm.

There is also a busy underage schedule. Down meet Sligo at Glenisk O'Connor Park at 4pm in the All-Ireland U20FC B final, while Dublin play Clare at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles at 1pm and Cork meet Wexford there at 3pm in the All-Ireland MHC preliminary quarter-finals. In the Ulster MFC semi-finals, Derry face Donegal at Find Insurance Owenbeg at 2pm, and Tyrone’s 1-18 to 3-10 win over Cavan at O'Neills Healy Park in Omagh booked them through.

The Tier 2 and Tier 3 minor fixtures add another layer to the schedule. Down play Mayo in Kinnegad at 1pm, Monaghan meet Westmeath in Corduff at 1pm and Offaly face Armagh at Glenisk O'Connor Park at 12.30pm in the All-Ireland MFC Tier 2 preliminary quarter-finals, while Sligo's 0-19 to 3-11 win over Clare at Kilcoyne Park in Tubbercurry has already settled one of those ties. Antrim meet Laois at St Peregrine's in Dublin at 1.30pm in the All-Ireland MFC Tier 3 semi-finals, and Waterford play Wicklow at Netwatch Cullen Park at 3pm. It is a full championship card that spreads from the senior game down to the minors, with Saturday's fixtures offering something at almost every level of the inter-county calendar.
