Betfair is offering new customers £30 in free bets for the 2026 World Cup, giving fresh sign-ups a boost as interest in the tournament begins to build. The deal is available to new users who register through one of the links on the page and place a £10 wager.
The offer applies to Betfair’s sportsbook, not its Exchange, and the free bet token can only be used on accumulators, bet builders and other multiples. It cannot be used on Canadian, Goliath, Heinz, Lucky 15, Lucky 31, Lucky 63, Patent, Super Heinz, Trixie or Yankee bets, which limits how punters can use the bonus once they qualify.
For existing customers, Betfair says a separate set of promotions will run during the 2026 World Cup. Those offers include World Cup price boosts on selected matches every day of the tournament, with one super boost kept back for the biggest game. The bookmaker will also let users create their own wager through #OddsOnThat, a feature that combines several World Cup markets and asks for a price.
Betfair is leaning on more than one hook to keep bettors engaged through football’s biggest event. Safe Sub means that if a player is taken off, the replacement player keeps the bet alive, while the referral scheme pays £10 in cash for each successful sign-up, up to a maximum of five, when the referred friend stakes £10 or more on the sportsbook, exchange, bingo or online casino.
There is also a separate £10 free bet offer on the Betfair Exchange for customers who opt in and then stake £10 or more at odds of 1.2 or greater. That can be used on any sport, including the World Cup, giving the brand another way to pull customers toward its exchange product.
