Milly Alcock is suited up as Kara Zor-El in a new exclusive image released as part of Fandango's Summer Movie Preview promotion for Supergirl, giving audiences another look at DC Studios' newest feature film.
The image arrives as the film moves toward its June 26, 2026 debut in theaters and IMAX across North America, with international release set to begin 24 June 2026. Alcock stars in the dual role of Supergirl and Kara Zor-El in a story that sends her on an interstellar journey after an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home.
Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, with Peter Safran and James Gunn producing. The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham and Jason Momoa, as Supergirl becomes the next major feature in the studio's comic book slate.
That makes the new image more than a marketing tease. It is the clearest look yet at Alcock in the role before the film reaches theaters, and it signals that DC Studios is already beginning to position Supergirl for a global rollout next summer.
Supergirl is based on characters from DC and on Supergirl, the character created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
