has been added to the ’s list of wanted persons after receiving a final prison sentence for drug possession tied to a 2024 festival on the Black Sea coast.

The American rapper, whose legal name is , was sentenced to nine months in prison for possession of risk drugs for personal use. Police said he is wanted under an arrest warrant issued for drug-related offenses, describing the case as a conviction for possession of risk drugs without authorization for personal consumption.

The case stems from a 2024 music festival in Costinești, where Khalifa smoked a cannabis cigarette on stage. Romanian police later found 18 grams of cannabis in his possession. In February this year, the rejected his annulment appeal and also rejected his request to suspend the execution of the prison sentence, making the ruling final.

That final ruling is what put Khalifa on the wanted list. The sequence matters: the appeal failed first, the sentence became enforceable, and only then did police move to list him as wanted. The case now sits in the enforcement stage, with the court fight over and the prison term in place.

For Khalifa, the consequence is no longer a legal dispute but an active warrant in Romania. For police, the file is closed on the facts that mattered to the court: the festival performance, the cannabis found after it, and the nine-month sentence that followed.
