Berserk chapter #384 is reported to return on June 12, 2026, with the Western Hemisphere release landing closer to June 11. Leaked copies and scanned pages surfaced before the magazine’s official release, but Young Animal’s May 22 issue is expected to confirm the chapter’s return in print.
The update ends a nine-month wait for one of manga’s most closely watched serials, and it arrives with Guts still at utter rock bottom after Griffith’s abduction of Casca. He has surrendered himself to the mysterious stupa and appears to have shut off the outside world, while Daiba says all Guts can do is peer into himself.
That is where Berserk, which debuted in 1989, has left him in the Fantasia Arc under the care of Studio Gaga and Kouji Mori after Kentaro Miura’s death. The series has been moving through a chapter of stillness and self-examination rather than action, even as readers have been waiting for forward motion from a story that rarely lets a wound close cleanly.
The tension is that Guts recently could not bring himself to defend against Rakshas, and Silat had already called out his lack of action in chapter #380.
