EDC Las Vegas is stretching its 2027 edition across two weekends and 12 days, unveiling a new “Dusk Till Dawn” format that will run from May 14 to May 24. The festival will open with EDC Dusk from May 14-16, return the following weekend for EDC Dawn from May 21-23, and give fans the option to attend one weekend or both.
Insomniac said tickets go on sale Friday, May 22, at 12 p.m. local time, with layaway plans for all pass types available starting at a $5 deposit. Pasquale Rotella said he was excited to introduce “Dusk Till Dawn” as the next evolution of EDC, describing it as a new way for Headliners to experience the music, art, connection and community that define the event.
Rotella said the festival is being reimagined as an immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city, with the freedom for attendees to choose their own path. Officials said the 2027 event is also being designed with a lower capacity, a move intended to create more room and make travel accommodations easier.
The lower-capacity plan is the clearest sign that EDC Las Vegas is trying to reshape the scale of one of its biggest annual gatherings without losing the traits that made it a destination event. The expanded schedule may spread out demand, but it also means the festival is taking on a more complex format before a single artist, stage design or citywide activation has been announced.
Details on the 2027 artist lineups, themes, stage programming and citywide events will come later, leaving the new structure as the main announcement for now.
