The May 18 Powerball winning numbers were 4, 13, 34, 61, 65, with a Powerball of 12, but no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday night’s drawing. The estimated jackpot for the game was $100 million, and the prize will now climb again for the next drawing.
One ticket sold in Virginia came closest. It matched all five white balls and missed only the Powerball, while the added Power Play doubled that prize to $2 million. That is the kind of near miss that turns a routine drawing into a meaningful payout for one player and a fresh reset for everyone else who bought in.
The Powerball game is drawn three times per week at about 10:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. A ticket costs $2, and players can add Power Play for another $1 or Double Play for another $1. For Monday night’s draw, the Power Play was 2x.
There was no jackpot winner in Double Play either. The Double Play numbers were 3, 13, 18, 40, 63, with a Powerball of 23, and nobody matched all six numbers for the $10 million top prize. No ticket matched all five numbers except for the Powerball in that game, either, leaving the $500,000 prize unclaimed.
The next Powerball jackpot, set for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, grows to $113 million with a cash option of $49.6 million. In a separate drawing on Friday night, May 15, 2026, Mega Millions produced winning numbers of 17, 23, 25, 52, 61, with the Mega Ball 3, and its jackpot now stands at an estimated $277 million with a cash option of $120.4 million for Tuesday night.
For players, the pattern is familiar: modest tickets, rare jackpots and the occasional life-changing consolation prize. Monday’s drawing did not produce a headline jackpot winner, but it did deliver a $2 million win in Virginia and set up a larger pool for the next drawing.
