Abi Chahwan and John Shepherd will return to Festival Place on Saturday, May 23, for a live appearance tied to the centre’s Retail Therapy event. The Married At First Sight UK 2025 couple will be on stage from 12pm to 12.30pm, where they are set to talk about life after the show, share behind-the-scenes stories and discuss their future together.

The pair first met on the 2025 series of Married at First Sight UK, joining as late arrivals. Chahwan is a veterinary nurse from Bournemouth, while Shepherd works as a marketing consultant from North Wales, and their relationship has drawn attention well beyond the programme itself.

That interest is part of why their visit matters now. Earlier this year, the couple went to Festival Place as they were preparing to move in together, giving shoppers an early glimpse of the relationship that has continued to unfold in public.
