has denied reports that I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is being axed after 12 seasons, saying decisions on the 2027 schedule will be made in the coming weeks. The jungle reality show, hosted by and , typically airs in January and sends celebrities into South African challenges for a shot at $100,000 for charity.

Several media reports on Thursday said the show had been chopped and that production network ITV was scrambling to find a new home for the 2027 season. But a Channel 10 spokesperson said decisions regarding the 2027 program schedule, including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, would be made shortly, effectively stopping the axing narrative before it hardened into fact.

The denial lands against a backdrop of strong recent numbers for the franchise. aired in January and opened to its biggest audience since 2022, averaging 925,000 total national viewers and finishing first in its timeslot. Its streaming audience rose 33 per cent year-on-year, even as the finale drew 571,000 viewers.

That split matters because the program is not a small, cheap filler. It is filmed in South Africa, carries a large production footprint and pays celebrities five- to six-figure salaries to appear. The 2026 season was pre-recorded in full, with winning after a cast that also included , , Rachel Hunter, Deni Hines and Mia Fevola.

The tension in the story is straightforward: a show that still delivered a ratings lift at launch is now being talked about as disposable. For now, Channel 10 has not backed the reports of a cancellation, and the next real marker is whether the network keeps the jungle format in its 2027 plan when those decisions are made in the coming weeks.
