Southampton will take on Hull City at Wembley on Saturday 23 May at 4.30pm, and the club has now set out how supporters can buy tickets for the Sky Bet Championship play-off final. The allocation stands at 35,984 seats on the west side of the stadium, with sales beginning on Friday 15 May at 9.30am for the first qualifying group.
For most fans, the process will be online only, with tickets issued digitally through the Saints Tickets App. The club said disabled supporters registered with it are the only exception to that rule, while ambulant disabled supporters can buy online in the same way as for a standard away match. A limited phone service will be available for those who need extra help or do not have internet access, but supporters should expect longer waits than usual and those outside their qualifying window should not call the Ticket Office.
The first sales window on Friday is for 2025/26 Season Ticket holders with 10+ away matches across the 24/25 or 25/26 seasons. They will be able to buy from 9.30am, followed by holders with 3+ away matches at 11.30am and those with 1+ away matches at 1.30pm. The FA Cup semi-final at Wembley counts towards the away-games total. On Monday 18 May, all remaining 2025/26 Season Ticket holders can buy from 9.30am, subject to availability, before 2025/26 Paid Members with 1+ matches in the 25/26 season are offered tickets at 1.30pm, also subject to availability. All remaining 2025/26 Paid Members can buy at 11.30am, while supporters who have purchased a Men's first team match in the 2025/26 season can buy at 1.30pm if tickets remain.
Physical tickets will only be available for Season Ticket Holders with physical passes and accessibility ticket holders who cannot use the app, and requests must be emailed to [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 18 May. The club said requests sent after that deadline will not be accepted. It also said ticket orders cannot be amended once processed, and that there should be enough ticket availability across Friday and Monday to meet demand from all Season Ticket holders.
The detail matters because Wembley final tickets often move quickly, and Southampton have tried to narrow the route to purchase while still leaving a phone option for supporters who need it. The club said tickets are sold one per qualifying Supporter Number, though up to 6 tickets can be bought per transaction if every supporter number qualifies, and it pointed fans to the ticketing page for travel, accessibility and other fixture information.
