Newcastle United have made a huge offer for Real Betis winger Abdessamad Ezzalzouli as they line up a replacement for Anthony Gordon. The English club has put about 40 million euros on the table for the 24-year-old, with reports saying Newcastle want to finalise the move quickly.
Fichajes said Newcastle have settled on Ezzalzouli, better known as Ez Abde, as Gordon's replacement. The report said his direct running, attacking aggression and comfort in open spaces make him a strong fit for the pace of the Premier League, while the offer is a figure Real Betis would struggle to ignore.
Ezzalzouli has been one of Betis' standout performers in the 2025/26 campaign, contributing 14 goals and 13 assists across all competitions. That output has helped push him onto Newcastle's list at a time when the club is dealing with a difficult summer window and the possibility of major change in attack.
The move is tied closely to Gordon's situation. The winger has drawn interest from several Premier League and European clubs, and Bayern Munich have made him a top target this summer. TalkSPORT reported this week that Gordon has agreed terms with the German club, which would give Newcastle a decision to make if the bid for Ezzalzouli advances.
Newcastle are said to be seeking 75 million pounds or more for Gordon, who has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season. Former Everton chief Keith Wyness added to the sense that a transfer could move quickly when he said, "I think Gordon's going to be moving across to Germany."
That leaves Newcastle trying to manage both sides of the same deal cycle at once: securing a ready-made replacement while bracing for the loss of one of their most productive forwards. The club may have to sanction a big-money exit if it fails to qualify for Europe, which would add pressure to decisions already being driven by the market.
