Grimsby Town head to the Peninsula Stadium on Friday evening for the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Semi-Final Second Leg against Salford City, with kick-off set for 7:15pm and turnstiles opening at 5:45pm.
The allocation for Town has completely sold out, and there will be no tickets available on the night. Supporters with standing tickets will be in the East Stand terrace behind the goal, while those with seating or wheelchair bay tickets will be in the North Stand. Entry for both sections is via Turnstile Block A on Moor Lane, through Turnstiles 1, 2 and 3.
Grimsby will wear their traditional black and white home kit for the fixture. For supporters driving to the ground, the advised route is to leave the M60 at Junction 17 and follow the A56 towards Manchester City Centre. The third turning on the right, signposted Oaklands Hall and St Pauls Church, leads onto Moor Lane, while the main entrance is the next left onto Neville Road, with the stadium on the right.
Parking around the stadium is limited. There is no supporter parking at the Peninsula Stadium, and a residents-only parking scheme is in force in the surrounding streets. Some parking may be available on Moor Lane, with additional spaces sometimes found towards the top of Kersal Road. Salford City’s supporter charter says Blue Badge holders may park within the residents-only zone for up to three hours during restricted times from Noon to 7pm.
For those coming by rail, the nearest mainline station is Manchester Victoria, more than three miles from the stadium. Supporters are advised to take a taxi from the station or use the 97 or 98 bus services towards the ground. The nearest Metrolink stop is Crumpsall, but it is still about a 30-minute walk away, and the streets around the ground are mainly residential with limited options close by.
It is a straightforward away guide for a match that has already drawn a full allocation and will now be shaped by the details around the ground as much as by what happens on it. For Grimsby supporters, the key is simple: arrive early, use the correct entrance, and do not expect to find tickets or parking on arrival.
