Bolton Wanderers confirmed ticket information for the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium, with Bwfc tickets now being released for the Sunday 24 May 2026 showdown against Stockport County. The final is set for a 1.00pm kick-off, and the club's allocation of 36,241 seats will go on sale online in stages.
Wanderers earned their place in the final after beating Bradford City in the semi-final, putting them one step away from promotion to the Sky Bet Championship. The allocation will be sold from North Stand round to the South Stand as instructed by Wembley Stadium, and all tickets must be bought online. There will be no in-person sales at the Toughsheet Community Stadium Ticket Office and no purchases through the usual Ticket Office telephone number.
Only Print at Home and Digital tickets are available for the final, and supporters can book a maximum of six tickets in one transaction. In phase one, which began on Friday 15 May at 12 Noon, 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders, Official Club Members and Lifeline Members could secure two tickets per client reference number. Phase two began on Monday 18 May at 10am, when season ticket holders, official club members and Lifeline members could again buy two tickets per client reference number.
The window is unusually tight for a fixture that carries promotion on the line, leaving little room for fans to make arrangements once sales open. Supporters who bought a ticket in phase one and then added more in phase two were warned their seats would not be together, a detail that will matter to families and groups trying to travel to Wembley as one.
Bolton now have a full allocation for one of the biggest days in the club's recent season, but the structure of the sale means speed and timing will decide who gets inside first. For many fans, the race for Wembley begins long before the 1.00pm whistle.
