A Corvette once owned by is heading to a Kentucky museum display that leans hard into car culture and celebrity history. The 1993 Corvette ZR-1 will go on view at the in Bowling Green and stay there through spring 2027.

The Ruby Red car, which many visitors may recognize from 's 2020 miniseries , appears in episode eight with Jordan emerging from the vehicle. It is a 40th Anniversary Package model with matching sport seats and an engine tuned to 405 horsepower.

The museum said the car will join more than a dozen legendary Corvettes in its permanent exhibit, part of a space designed to show how America's Sports Car has reached film, television, music, video games and celebrity culture. The exhibit is included with regular admission, which is $25 for adults.

Jordan's connection gives the display a sharper edge than a standard nostalgia piece. He led the to six NBA championships in eight seasons, and the car reflects the kind of status symbol that followed him at the height of his fame. For the museum, the addition fits a broader effort to preserve and showcase a brand that was created to be futuristic and instantly recognizable.

That timing also matters because the museum is opening the display to school visitors this month. During May, K-12 students can get in for $10, with a free Corvette poster offered while supplies last. The National Corvette Museum, which opened in 1994 and sits at 350 Corvette Drive on a 115,000-square-foot campus, was ranked second in Best Attraction for Car Lovers in the most recent 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards.

The car's long run through spring 2027 gives the museum a marquee draw well beyond a short-term loan. For anyone heading to Bowling Green, about 100 miles south of Louisville, the Jordan Corvette is now part of the case the museum makes every day for why this machine still matters.
