Jeeno Thitikul won the 2026 Mizuho Americas Open on Sunday, birdieing the last hole at Mountain Ridge Country Club to finish four strokes ahead of Ruoning Yin. The 23-year-old earned $487,500 for the victory and became the fastest player to reach $18 million in career earnings.
Thitikul’s latest title was her ninth on the LPGA Tour, a run that has put her in a class of her own financially as well as competitively. She already holds the record for the fastest climb from the $8 million mark to $18 million, and the pace has only accelerated in 2026.
“It means the world,” Thitikul said after closing out the win. The result follows her victory at the Honda LPGA Thailand earlier in 2026, leaving her with nearly $1 million in winnings this year after two tournament victories.
The Mizuho Americas Open carried a $3.25 million purse and came with the kind of player comforts tournament host Michelle Wie West has pushed to make part of the event’s identity. Mizuho covered free rooms for players, Ford provided free transportation, and this week’s gifts included $250 gift cards to Delta and Starbucks. LPGA mothers also received $1,000 Starbucks gift cards.
For Thitikul, the finish was another reminder that her rise is moving faster than anyone else’s. For everyone else on tour, the gap is getting harder to close.
